ACT public fast charging gets an 'A-minus'
On Friday April 11, the ACT branch conducted an audit of every public DC fast charger in the ACT ahead of the Easter long weekend. Each station was checked for physical condition, whether it was in service, and whether the charging apps were giving correct information.
A total of 102 plugs (86 CCS2 and 16 CHAdeMO connectors) across 26 sites were checked. Five plugs were found to be out of service but, importantly, no site was completely out of service, as other plugs were available.
AEVA considers this to be a satisfactory result ahead of the busy Easter period.
