Description

The expo aims to showcase local community groups and organisations focused on taking positive action on climate change. The event aims to be inspiring and informative, family-friendly and to build connections in the local community. We are expecting it to be bigger and more stallholder focussed this year. We will also have a Welcome to Country, and (in a separate auditorium) scheduled speakers including:

  • Todd Houstein - Sustainable Living Tasmania - Home energy efficiency
  • Assoc Prof Catriona McLeod - Head of the Ecology and Biodiversity centre at IMAS
  • Dr Thomas Remenyi - climate scientist - UTas Climate Futures
  • Zoe Kean - climate communicator - How to talk to people about climate
  • Anton Vikstrom - Good Car Co - Everything you need to know about electric vehicles
  • Chris Lang - Climate and your finances
