AEVA has called for Federal Government investment in rail for long haul freight, with the aim of electrifying key interstate routes by 2050.

For road freight, AEVA has called for financial support for logistics companies willing to acquire electric heavy goods vehicles and related chargers.

These initiatives are key to reducing emissions in the freight logistics sector, said AEVA's National President, Dr Chris Jones.
