Description

John will talk about some of the goals we need to pay attention to. For his presentation it will be the need to reduce our national security / energy risks, reduce transport and energy emissions, and improve our national resilience.

John will discuss fuel security, the need for alternate transport logistics modes (including greater use of EVs), his concerns that the energy transition risks are poorly understood, and that the AEMO ISP is a significant risk factor in itself.

He is now on his second EV, having owned EVs for over a decade. John is an advocate for renewable energy and has solar on the roof and invests in the renewable energy sector.  However, the energy transition we face in the next decades is poorly planned, based on significant assumptions and sadly is now the subject of party political interest focused on the next election and not on what makes sense for us as a nation.
