A workshop for people new to the world of Electric Vehicles.  You may be looking at purchasing, or perhaps you have a new car.

Topics covered include:

  • What's different in an EV?
  • How and where do I charge?
  • What should I consider when purchasing?
  • Practical demonstration at the Chargefox station in the car park.

 

The presenters have many years of experience with EVs and will tailor the presentation to answer your questions.

Ray is an EV owner of over 10 years who sees the benefits of EV usage for a better Tasmania. He is one of the directors of Electric Highway Tasmania (EHT), a local group providing EV charging across the state, and is an active member of AEVA Tasmania.

There is a DC charger in the Multi-Storey Car Park on Fenton Way.  This is where the final, practical part of the workshop will be held, and is a convenient place to park.
