Description
It's on again, and this year will be a big one!
Celebrating 50 continuous years of advocacy for electric transport, the Australian Electric Vehicle Association will be holding its annual conference, EV Expo and Annual General Meeting in Perth from November 3rd to 5th at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.
An Exhibitor's handbook can be found here!
A flyer for the Expo can be found here!
The Friday conference theme is 'Electrification for Everybody' - how can we ensure more Australians can benefit from electric transport. How will government policy impact the availability and affordability of electric cars and motorcycles? What needs to be done to get more electric bus and train services? Are electric heavy vehicles coming soon enough, and should more freight be moved by electric rail? Who stands to prosper and who might be left behind? Registration to attend and contribute to this expo is open now! Follow the EV Expo home page link for biographies and confirmed speakers.

A gala dinner for conference attendees will be held at Fraser's restaurant in the iconic Kings Park on Friday night. This will be a fun and informative birthday party for the world's oldest continuously running electromobility association, with guest speakers, good food and plenty of entertainment.
The Saturday and Sunday EV Expo will be a showcase of all things electric - cars, bikes, boats, aeroplanes and more! Find out about new models, repairs and upgrades, even DIY conversions. Test-drive a new model, or shop around for a used EV. There will be stacks of e-bikes, e-scooters and other electric ridables to try out too.
Our 50th Annual General Meeting will be held on the Saturday night at the adjacent hotel. AEVA members are also invited to join a workshop planned for the Thursday before the conference (2nd November) hosted by our friends at Norsk Elibilforening (Norwegian EV Association).
Plan your trip and enjoy your stay in the West - the journey over is half the fun! AEVA will be working with roadhouses and venues across the Nullarbor to ensure you can drive across the continent hassle-free.
