Event details:

Watts up with your EV? ANU wants to hear from you!

The Australian National University is investigating people’s experiences with new energy technology, including electric vehicles. The research will help relevant government agencies better manage new risks to consumers, and update current energy consumer protections.

As part of the research, we want to hear from Victorians with electric vehicles—particularly those who may have had any issues with their technology, so we can better understand whether and how these have been resolved.

You are invited to participate in an online focus group at 7 pm on Wednesday 10 June 2020, using the Zoom video calling program. The session will run for around 1 to 1.5 hours and will provide an opportunity to exchange views on EVs and related issues.

To receive login details for the session please email Hugo Temby, Research Manager at the ANU’s Battery and Grid Integration Program, College of Engineering and Computer Science, at voices@anu.edu.au

In your response, please include your name, age, suburb, and if possible your gender, and the type of electric vehicle that you own or use.

The research is part funded by the Victorian Energy and Water Ombudsman of Victoria and Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning. Results of the research will be shared publicly and we hope they will improve the experiences of consumers in the future.
