Special Event

THE IONIC BAY TO BIRDWOOD IS ONE OF THE WORLD’S GREAT HISTORIC MOTORING EVENTS...

and has been a standout fixture on the South Australian calendar since 1980.

In 2024, we look forward to welcoming over 1500 vehicles manufactured from the early 1900s through to 31 December 1994.

Make sure you are subscribed to our email newsletter and follow us on social media for updates.

The vehicles all leave West Beach early in the morning on Sunday 20th October, 2024 and travel to Birdwood in the Adelaide Hills, a distance of around 70km.

In 2022, the Electric Conversion awards category was introduced.
Since then converted EVs have been coming from all over Australia.

Don't miss out by entering your vehicle in the great event.

The judging for the awards is held on Saturday October 19, 2024, in Adelaide (The day before the big event)
Remember, you have to complete the event run on the Sunday to obtain an award!

Vehicle registrations for the 2024 Bay to Birdwood  for Regular or Award entry are now open!

Board/Working Group Meeting

Each Sunday evening we meet up on a Skype call to work on the AEVA website, and anyone is welcome!
You might be a branch secretary, or someone interested in posting events, or just someone who'd like to help.

It is all very casual, turn up if you can, for as long as you want.  What we do each week will depend on who is there!

If you have a particular thing you'd like to do, turn up and see if there is anyone who might like to help you.  Otherwise, see if you can lend a hand to the other things going on.

Our ongoing projects are documented on Discord.
We also have an email list:  website_builders@aeva.asn.au
You can email the list if you have a question, but there are lots of people on that list, so don't send any sensitive or personal information (e.g. about particular members).

Here's the link for the meeting: https://join.skype.com/TH3DrrqEW1Ow

7:30 pm Hobart time, which means we change with daylight savings.
