Special members only event

In April, the ACT Government opened the new Woden Bus Depot in Phillip. This is a dedicated facility for charging electric buses. We are now seeing more and more electric buses on the streets of Canberra as there is now much more capacity for charging in the new depot compared with the Tuggeranong and Belconnen depots.

Transport Canberra has generously offered AEVA members a special tour of the new depot. This will be a full depot tour with EV areas being a focus. Please come along and see how all of the big problems were tackled and how we can expect to see the rest of the bus fleet electrified over the next 15 years (or faster!)

Registration for this event is essential and closes on 1 June at 6pm. Should numbers have to be limited, places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Final details will be sent a few days before the event on where to park, etc.
