Morgan Colgate, Business Director, Curtin Motorsport Team

In 2022, Curtin Motorsport Team achieved a significant milestone when the team successfully competed with their first EV at the Australasia FSAE competition. The 2025 race car is in development and this event is an opportunity for industry members to view the car and discuss battery and power electronics and other vehicle control systems designed and assembled by the team.

Morgan Colgate will welcome us and introduce the electrical team.

Light refreshments will be served and will provide a forum for further questions about the race car and both technical and business development skills and opportunities for the team. Please advise if you have dietary requirements.

Presenter's Bio:

Curtin Motorsport is a student run organisation committed to developing strong technical, managerial, leadership and hands-on skills through participation in the Formula SAE Design Competition. As an international engineering design competition, students conceive, design, manufacture and test an open-wheeled car over a 12-month period. It is a unique and exceptionally challenging project, with full responsibility for all project management, finance, technical development, human resources and logistics taken by the students.
