Description

Jeff and Brendan of The Automotive Technician will be diving into the often-overlooked aspects of servicing used EVs. The discussion will compare manufacturer-recommended service schedules across various EV brands, highlighting key differences and identifying critical preventative maintenance tasks that manufacturers don’t always include in their official schedules. As more Australians transition to used EV ownership, understanding these maintenance needs is essential for keeping vehicles safe, reliable, and performing at their best.

Additionally, the speakers will discuss insights from a recently run professional training on battery state of health (SOH) assessment, providing practical advice for used EV owners. We’ll explore what current SOH testing looks like, how it impacts long-term ownership, and share actionable tips to maximise battery longevity. Whether you’re an experienced EV owner or new to the space, this session will aim to equip you with the knowledge to make informed maintenance decisions and get the most out of your EV investment.
