Some locations have a credit card reader on site. This allows you to use the chargers without using an app.
Be aware that at some locations with multiple chargers, the credit card readers only work on some chargers.
Help: Look for a phone number at the site, or call the phone number for the brand on the chargers (Chargefox etc.).
- Find the credit card reader at the site. This could be a separate device on a pole, or it could be integrated into the charger.
- Check that the reader will work with the charger you want to use. The credit card reader may not work with all chargers at the site.
- Follow the instructions to select the charger and plug you wish to use.
- Swipe your credit card.
- Remember! You need to swipe your credit card again to end the session. If you don't do this you may be charged a higher fee.
