AEVA QLD hosts the EV Experience with 80 EVs and 150 test rides
On Sunday 26th September, the QLD Branch of AEVA with help from the TOCA QLD members and EV start-up business Give It A Whirl held the first EV Experience event at the Cleveland Showgrounds on the Bayside of Brisbane.
There were 80 EVs on display with nearly every model, including a few PHEVs, the Hyundai Nexo Hydrogen EV, a Porsche Taycan and a few conversions thrown in for good measure.
A number of EV related businesses such as charging companies, Solar and Batteries retailers, trailer fitters, and other environment advocacy groups attended to provide plenty to look at.
As a feature of this event, test rides were offered to the public with 12-15 owners completing 150 test rides in the 4 hours and this was warmly received.
