Cairns to follow Townsville with successful meetings in Far North Queensland
Following the very successful Townsville meeting, far north Queensland is on it's way with an increase in members, as EV owners and enthusiasts are set to meet for the Cairns branch this week.
The EV owners and enthusiasts met in Townsville recently, starting the ball rolling with their own meetings to be held monthly at the local RSL, making AEVA Townsville branch the newest sub-branch in Australia.
Cairns enthusiast will now be the next sub-branch to follow, with their inaugural meeting this week on Wednesday the 27th of October. Featuring speakers from the Brisbane group, the Cairns group are looking forward to finally getting together to talk all things electric.
If you are in Cairns or surrounds, or perhaps just visiting, you are encouraged to pop in and say hello. Held at the Cairns Gateway Resort conference room, the meeting room will open at 7 for a 7.30pm start. Charging is available as the resort has two chargers available and can be found on plugshare.
As always, Covid rules must be considered.
Tea and coffee will be provided.
