AEVA membership free for under 25s!
The AEVA's membership has been steadily growing and diversifying as more and more Australians start to realise the opportunities of transport electrification, however one stubborn statistic has been causing concern - our average age. With a recent member survey indicating over three-quarters of our membership was over 55, it's clear we need to appeal to a broader section of Australian society.
But Australia is also host to an absolute hotbed of youthful innovation at our universities and technical colleges, with student-led teams building world-class electric race cars, solar cars, and electric robotic devices. We also lay claim to young serial entrepreneurs in the EV space, along with experts in policy, research, marketing, sales, financial services and company management roles - all led by young people with bright futures in the electric transport world.
Regular membership is $55.00 and concessional membership is just $27.50, but we're keen to remove any barrier to young Australians keen to join a thriving community of enthusiasts, consumers and end-users of EV technology.

For over 50 years, AEVA has endeavoured to bring the benefits of electric vehicle technology to the public; not just cars - but bikes, motorcycles, buses, trucks, trains, trams, boats and planes. Each mode has generally been more expensive than the incumbent it stands to replace, so uptake tends to follow disposable income, which in Australia, correlates with age. But you don't have to own an electric car to be an AEVA member; you can still benefit from what the community has to offer - knowledge, support, friendship and mentoring to name a few.
