Re: Model 3 Charging options in WA

I found this mobile charger, affirmations from some postings on these forum pages, whereby 1.5 to 22kW rate from GPO to 32A3P is feasible. Based upon my run from Perth to Esperance and back in LEAF v2.0 the available 32A3P sockets and Tesla destination chargers the sojourn would be worry free. https...

Is there an issue using the RAC EV Highway? When I look at this website it suggests it will not be possible. https://jetcharge.com.au/resources/tool ... o-you-need

Re: Model 3 details firmed up

I placed my order 2 weeks after launch. Happy for the saving period. Hopefully more options by then and a real World Series of reports. Tow bar would be most desirable! Essential really. Range is good. Cannot decide on colour but as Pearl white is the white that is a likely but to get heated seats y...

Here's a link to a enthusiasts tracker https://model3tracker.info/public_graphs_world_map.php I was number 7 in Perth for this tracker but about 375000 on the reservations list. I am very interested in the Nissan competitor though. So will wait and see. My aband...

If we have the RF card from ChargeStar would that act as a swipe card to unlock a cover to access to buttons / cable ends? The button is meant to be an emergency button which suggests quick, uncomplicated access, apart from the odd TeslaS burning at a charge station I would think most fire/electrocu...

When you go to load your smart card you will see it is 10c per unit of energy. A lot cheaper than at home ( if no solar ). Works out for my LEAF at $1.50 per 100km on the country run or $1.20 urban cycle

First of all...thank you! Hyper criticism - concerns - 1] Partially missed opportunity ( could have been a cost / location thing ) to make the cables able to reach four parking bays. Achievable if placed at the centre of four bays in larger parking areas like Busselton. 2] Prominence is effective ad...

Australia's first Electric Highway!

I've called it through to local ABC but not seen anything online. May be reported on radio only. Protection I think best by video recording. Who knows why they did it. It is near bus port and may simply be a haves and have-nots thinking combined with the fear of the unknown. Does the Rivers store ha...

Australia's first Electric Highway!

Thanks Chris,
I would like to add that Samson Brook bridge has collapsed.
It is on the South West Hwy North of Hamel and South of Waroona so the distance between Harvey and Mandurah will be longer for a few weeks until Main Roads can replace.
The poor community.

I am off on my honeymoon on the 2nd December in my LEAF.   It would be convenient if Harvey is up and running ( pun dubious ) Hey, I might not have been completely successful but 3 family members have just gone hybrid, one is a PHEV. That's 3 cars consuming less than half of the fossil fuel poison. ...

BLQWER - I am curious. Tyre pressure is important. I was told 36psi. They dropped to 34 at one stage so it added 0.01 to the consumption. USA forums shows many lifting it to 40psi If you are accelerating hard and breaking hard that will consume but it is zero emissions so don't feel bad about that! ...

If you car is 100% charged you first 10km will have a high consumption as there is no room for the regenerated braking energy to go. The first time I charged to 100% I thought my iPod on wheels was broken because the region' didn't work . . . and then it dawned on me! LOL i find highway at 107kph (a...
