Vic branch supported: Off-Grid Living Festival
The weather in Chiltern was kind to 7 Vic AEVA members plus special guest from ACT, Warwick Cathro (National Secretary). Steve Fuery again attracted attention with his electric ZERO motorcycle, and did a great job answering the crowd’s questions.
In addition to several dealers on show (including Tesla – not TOCA!), we had a range of private EVs on display.
The Off Grid Living Festival was massive, with an incredible number and range of features in a HUGE area! https://www.offgridevent.com.au/
One of the highlights was the MG4 vehicle to load (V2L) powering the big screen and loud speakers in the Electrification Tent.
And speaking of loud speakers, Kath Davies and family got a warm reception during their talk on home retrofitting, embracing EVs, and high court scrapping of the Victorian EV tax.
