Reframing messaging around Electric Vehicles with Tim Hollo

The three main objections to electric vehicles - cost too much, take too long to charge, not enough places to charge have been relatively unchanged for 10 years.

With ACT running on 100% renewable electricity, transport now the highest emitting sector, and with the introduction of further ACT government incentives imminent, promoting and celebrating electric mobility is timely and presents huge potential for encouraging the wider population to embrace its use - and the cleaner, healthier, safer future it will contribute to.

With the urgency of reducing emissions becoming increasingly more obvious, it is time to address oft repeated and mostly unchallenged assumptions

There are so many benefits to electric mobility - not just cars - that can be highlighted, quite apart from the urgent need to rapidly reduce emissions.

This workshop aims to develop positive messaging that will reframe the discussion around electric vehicles and electric mobility and will inform publications, activities and events into the future.
